How to download Threads videos

A simple guide for phone and desktop. It works the same for videos, photos and audio.

On your phone (Android & iPhone)

1. Open the Threads app and go to the post you want to save.
2. Tap the … (three dots) above the post, or the share icon, and choose Copy link.
3. Open ThreadsSaver in your browser and paste the link into the box.
4. Tap Download, choose the quality, and the file saves to your device.

On a computer

1. Go to threads.com and open the post.
2. Click the … menu and select Copy link (or copy the URL from the address bar of the post page).
3. Paste it into the box on ThreadsSaver and click Download.
4. Pick your preferred resolution and the media downloads to your computer.

Downloading a carousel (multiple photos)

Paste the post link as usual. ThreadsSaver detects every image in the carousel and shows each one with its own download button, so you can save them individually.

Tips & troubleshooting

• Use the post link, not the profile link. A profile URL (threads.com/@name) points at a person; open the specific post first.
• Only public posts work. Private posts can’t be accessed by any downloader.
• “Couldn’t fetch”? Try again in a moment, or use the app, which downloads from your own device.
• Save what you’re allowed to. Download only your own content or content you have permission to use.
