This Privacy Policy explains what information ThreadsSaver (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website, and how we use it. By using the site you agree to this policy.

Information we do not collect

We do not require you to create an account or log in. We do not ask for your Threads, Instagram or Meta credentials, and we have no access to your Threads account. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we process

• The post link you submit. We use it solely to fetch the requested public media and return download links to you. Resolved results may be cached briefly (on the order of minutes) to reduce load and speed up popular posts.
• Basic request data. Like most websites, our infrastructure processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and time of request. We use this for security, abuse prevention (rate limiting) and aggregate diagnostics.
• The media itself. Downloaded media is fetched from Meta’s content-delivery network and passed to you. We do not permanently host or store downloaded media; any edge caching is transient.

Cookies and local storage

We use a small amount of browser local storage to remember your theme preference (light/dark). We do not use cookies to track you across other websites. Third-party services below may set their own cookies.

Cloudflare & Turnstile

This site is served through Cloudflare, which processes request data to deliver and protect the site. We may use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly CAPTCHA alternative, to tell humans and bots apart; it may set a token/cookie for that purpose. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Advertising

We may display advertising, including through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings, and you can learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

You can clear local storage from your browser, block cookies, and opt out of personalised ads as described above.
